Jane S. Mauland was born June 9, 1937, in Tonawanda, New York. Her parents were Arthur and Minnie (Gardemin) Bridge. She was baptized June 25, 1937. She attended the Tonawanda Public schools graduating in June, 1955. Following graduation, Jane worked for the State of New York until her marriage to Donald Mauland on September 8, 1962, in Tonawanda, New York. Her former husband preceeded her in death. Jane worked as a bookkeeper in the offices of the Western Dairy Company (later becoming AMPI) of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and the Henry Candy Company in Montevideo, Minnesota. Jane also was a cook for the Highway Cafe in Montevideo. Jane was an active member of Clarkfield Lutheran Church, the Clarkfield Legion Auxiliary, the Clarkfield Study Club, the Nordfjord Lag and the Clarkfield Chapter 296 CES now consolidated with Sunrise Chapter #72, Montevideo. Jane entered the Willmar Bethesda Heritage Nursing Home on May 24, 1981, and later passing away there after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, March 15, 1986. She is survived by her mother, Minnie Bridge, Tonawanda, New York; her sisters, Sandy and husband Bill Mclntyre of Circleville, Ohio and Betty and husband Robert Harmel; and by nephew and nieces of Tonawanda, New York.
