James Wilfred Feist was born October 17, 1932, to William and Tillie (Lee) Feist. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Following his honorable discharge from the army, 'Jimmie' made his home in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on June 16, 1999, in Omaha at the age of 66 years, 8 months, and 30 days. He is survived by sisters: Lucille Feist of Willmar, Minnesota, Gretchen Dotseth of Anoka, Minnesota, Gloria (and Leo) Olson of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Darlene Christopherson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and brother William (and Wanda) Feist Jr. of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gerald and sister DeLoris. He will be sadly missed by his family.
