Ivan Louie Sechrist was born September 18, 1875, in Ohio, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Sechrist. He passed away December 19, 1960, at his Cottonwood home, at the age of 85 years. He served Cottonwood in the furniture business and as mortician for many years. Mr. Sechrist is survived by his wife, Pet Louise (Grant) Sechrist; one son, Ivan, who for many years operated a barber shop in Cottonwood, but now resides in St. Paul; and two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Reishus of Cottonwood and Neva, a nurse.
