Ingvald Carlson was born March 9, 1882, in Norway, the son of Carl and Ingeborg Lievbrek. He passed away November 10, 1959, at the Clarkfield Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at 77 years of age. He farmed north of Cottonwood. He was preceded in death by his wife Stella in 1923. Survivors include a sons, Kermit, Norman, Carl and Stanley, and a daughter, Inez (Mrs. Clarence Abrahamson).
