Ingrid Alice Holt was born in 1895, in Norway, the daughter of Anders Christopherson Brekke and Arendal (Devle) Brekke. She immigrated to America in 1916. Ingrid was united in marriage with Harold Holt on March 17, 1916, at Canton, South Dakota. She died July 23, 1951, in Willmar, Minnesota, at the age of 56 years. Survivors include her husband and daughters: Harda (Mrs. Joseph Mayer) and Dorothy (Mrs. James Sturtevant). Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her son, Hans in 1932.
