Pauline Holm was born August 19, 1903, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Anton and Anne (Cornelius) Holm. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. The family lived on a farm southwest of Clarkfield until 1941 when Pauline, along with her parents and brother, Olger, moved into a home in Clarkfield where she continued to live until becoming a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center. Pauline was employed for several years in California and at the hospital in Granite Falls, Minnesota, and later at the Clarkfield school and hospital as cook and nurses aid. She was a caring person, caring for her parents until their passing and then she and Olger continued to live together until they both became residents of the care center. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her goodness to others. Pauline enjoyed her Friendship Mission Circle where she was an active member. Pauline passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center on Wednesday, April 3, 1991, at the age of 87 years. Surviving Pauline are her sister, Emma (Mrs. Alfred Lee) of Montevideo, Minnesota, and many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Olger, August, Arthur and Alvin in infancy.
