Inga Bly was born September 16, 1864, in Lee County, Illinois, the daughter of John and Martha (Meland) Severson. She died November 27, 1949, in Cottonwood, Minnesota, at the age of 85 years. She was the wife of Peter H. Bly who preceded her in death October 29, 1940. They were the parents of Julia, John, Martha, Helen, Helge, James, Pearl, Gertrude and Eva.
