Inez L. Berg (April 3, 1912 ~ September 21, 2009) Inez L. Berg was born on April 3, 1912, in Clarkfield, Minnesota, to parents Oliver and Mary (Severts) Orres. She was baptized by Rev. Storelsi of the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. She was confirmed by Rev. Rousberg in Gardner, North Dakota. She attended school and graduated from Gardner High School. Inez married Clarence Berg on June 6, 1931. They were the parents of one son, Kenneth. Inez was a homemaker all her life. She was active in her church and the Ladies Aide. Clarence and Inez owned and operated a resort at Akeley, Minnesota for many years. They also were custodians at the Vinge Lutheran Church in Willmar, Minnesota, for several years. Inez passed away the Clarkfield Care Center on Monday, September 21, 2009, at the age of 97 years, 5 months and 18 days. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kenneth, husband Clarence and her brothers, George, Laurence and Raymond and her sisters, Berenice and Evelyn. Blessed be her memory.
