Inez Olson was born on May 26, 1907, to Ambrose and Bella Olson in Cottonwood, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Silo Lutheran Church, now the Christ Lutheran Church. Inez was an active member for many years in her church and also the senior citizens club. Inez spent many years taking care of her parents and a brother and a sister. At an early age her folks moved to a farm a few miles North of Cottonwood, where she attended the Vineland School through the 7th grade. She then moved back into Cottonwood where she attended the public school through the 9th grade. They moved back to the farm where she resided until the farm was sold. She then returned to Cottonwood, where she resided in the Lakeview Apartments for 14 years. In the summer of 1992, she moved into the Weiner Memorial Nursing Home in Marshall, where she died at the age of 85. Inez is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Jerule Kise of Nisswa, Minnesota, and Mrs. Dennis Erie of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Mr. Robert Olson of Florida; several cousins and many friends.
