Inanda G. Wilson was born May 8, 1887, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Hans G. Wilson and Elsie Sorenson Wilson. She was baptized May 22, 1887, and was confirmed at the Bergen Lutheran Church by Rev. H.O. Fjelstad on October 6, 1901. She spent her entire lifetime on the family farm in Lisbon Township. She never married, but assisted in bringing up one nephew, Woodrow Wilson and one niece, Jean (Mrs. Henry Nicklasson) who lost their mother at a very early age. She died Saturday, February 10, 1973, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, at the age of 85 years. She had suffered a stroke about a week prior and was hospitalized at that time. Survivors include two brothers, Selmer and Henry, both of rural Clarkfield; one nephew, Woodrow Wilson of Clarkfield; six nieces: Mrs. Henry Nicklasson of Montevideo, Minnesota, Mrs. Olaf Risa of Hazel Run, Minnesota, Mrs. Lyle Monson, Mrs. Herman Halvorson and Mrs. Shirley Allchin, all of Granite Falls, Minnesota, and Mrs. John Thompson of Mahtomedi, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Alden and Gerhard. IN MEMORY OF INANDA G.
