Ida Otilie Loose Roske was born September 24, 1906 at her farm home in Tyro Township, where she grew up. Her parents were Henry and Anna (Block) Loose. She was baptized the day of her birth at the home by Pastor August Hillger. She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church,Tyro Township on Palm Sunday, March 28, 1920 by Pastor Luttman. Ida was united in marriage to Herman A. Roske on June 5, 1938 at Zion Lutheran Church by Pastor L. Rosin. They began their married life together on the farm where they lived for 21 years. In July of 1959 they moved to Clarkfield to make their home. Ida passed away on Tuesday morning, January 16, 1996 at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 24 days. She is survived by brother Ruben, of Eugene, Oregon and sister Rose Eggen of Clarkfield. She is also survived by nine nephews and 13 nieces and cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman on June 15, 1978, and three brothers: John, Leonard, and Louie; and sister Clara Galow. Blessed be her memory.
