Mrs. Ida Miller, daughter of Haakon and Anlaug Brusven, was born November 18, 1889, in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith at the St. Lucas Lutheran Church of Normania Township by the Rev. Knut Thortenson and was confirmed by the Rev. Martin Romstad at the same Church. She has beeen a lifelong member of the St. Lucas Congregation. On March 6, 1913, she was united in marriage to Martin Miller, who preceded her in death in 1932. To this union three children were born: LaVerna, Orphie and Hardy. Orphie, who prededed Ida in death, gave his life in the service of his Country. Ida passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 1983, at the Fairview Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is survived by one daughter, LaVerna and one son, Hardy, both of Minneapolis; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Hilda Fyksen. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
