Mrs. Alfred (Ida) Kise was born November 16, 1889, to Christ and Ragnild (Frostly) Garthe, in Hanley Falls, Minnesota. She married Alfred Kise on November 26, 1907, in Hanley Falls. She lived with Alfred in Hanley Falls until his death in 1962. Ida left Hanley Falls in 1964 to live with her son, Morris in Tucker, Georgia and later with her daughter, Ruth in Wheaton, Illinois. Ida passed away on July 19, 1983, at the Prairie View Nursing Home in Princeton, Illinois, where she had resided since April of 1981, at the age of 93. Ida is survived by her daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Merlin) Miller of Princeton, Illinois; two grandsons, Brian Miller and Wayne Kise; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters; one son, Morris in 1974; and her husband, Alfred in 1962. IN MEMORY OF MRS. ALFRED (IDA A.)
