Services for H. Leo Wilson, 67, of Casper, Wyoming, were held there last Thursday, May 5, Pastor Harold Everson officiating. Burial was at the Hazel Run Cemetery, Hazel Run, Minnesota. Mr. Wilson died Tuesday morning, May 3, 1977, after a brief illness. Born February 12, 1910, on a farm near Hazel Run, he was a 1928 graduate of Clarkfield High School, Clarkfield, Minnesota, and received a B.S. degree in Agriculture from South Dakota State College in 1932. Following graduation he taught high school at Wolsey, South Dakota, for two years. He joined the Soil Conservation Service in 1934, and after tours of duty in Huron and Chamberlain in South Dakota and Lincoln, Nebraska, he joined the state staff in Casper in 1954. He retired in 1970. Survivors are his widow, Iola Boyd Wilson; one daughter, Mrs. Barry (Kay) Goldberg of Baltimore, Maryland; and three sons: Bruce of Anaheim, California, Douglas of Irvine, California, and David of Garden Grove, California. He is also survived by two step-daughters: Mrs. Scott (Kari) Rountree of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mrs. John (Manni) Mayfield of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and 11 grandchildren.
