Hilmar T. Halvorson was born in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, October 31, 1907, son of Nels and Petra (Korneliouson) Halvorson. He passed away June 19, 1981, at the Metropolitan Medicial Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Ella of Dent, Minnesota; two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Bertha) Bushard and Mrs. Dale (Helen) Syde; a son Nuel Halvorson; two sons-in-law; one daughter-in-law; two sisters, Mrs. Merald (Pearl) Nelson and Mrs. Thelma Sabe; two brothers, Erling Halvorson and Alvin Drown; four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Erling Halvorson, Mrs. Alvin Droen, Elsie Halvorson and Gertrude Droen; one brother-in-law, Merald Nelson; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Hilmar married Ella Nybakken on June 11, 1935, in Clarkfield and to this union were born two daughters and a son: Bertha, Helen and Nuel. He will be sadly missed by all. IN MEMORY OF HILMER T.
