Hilda Marie Olson Tollefson was born to Halvor and Karen (Foss) Olson in Hazel Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on February 17, 1895. She married William Leroy Tollefson on July 23, 1912. They lived in Hazel Run three years, farmed near Hazel Run 27 years and resided in Granite Falls since 1942. She passed away July 31, 1978, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 83 years. Surviving are three children: Wallace and Lester Tollefson of Granite Falls and Myrtle (Mrs. Walter Tongen) of Montevideo; one sister, Gena (Mrs. Albin Anderson) of Minneapolis; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William, in 1960; one grandson, Wyman Tongen; three sisters and four brothers. IN MEMORY OF MRS. HILDA M.
