Hilda Nelson, daughter of Bengt and Anna Nelson, was born April 24, 1903. She was baptized into the Christian faith on September 27, 1903, and confirmed in the Swede Home Lutheran Church on July 8, 1917. Hilda and her sister Emily lived on the home place in Swede Prairie Township. They retired in 1962 and moved into their new home in Clarkfield. Hilda suffered with a heart condition for a number of years. She was taken to the Clarkfield Hospital where she died suddenly on Friday, December 29, 1972. She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters: Emily of Clarkfield and Mrs. William Larson of Minneota; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Albert Nelson of Clarkfield. Preceding her in death were her father, her mother, one sister and two brothers. IN MEMORY OF HILDA A.
