Hilda B. Johnson was born in Oslo, Norway, on September 16, 1985, to Hans and Pauline (Borgerson) Johansen. She came to the United States in 1912 and lived in the Clarkfield vicinity and in St. Paul until her marriage on April 10, 1920, to Morten A. Satre of Clarkfield. She passed away Sunday evening, February 11, 1973, at Clarkfield Memorial Hospital at the age of 77 years. She is survived by three children: one son, Marvin of Boyd, Minnesota, and two daughters, Pearl (Mrs. Marvin Ingebritson) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Bernice (Mrs. Russell Kreuscher) of Kenosha, Wisconsin; four sisters: Dagny Olerud of St. Paul, Valborg Oakes of New York, New York, Marie Ring and Anna Soberg of Oslo, Norway; one brother, Borgen Johansen of Oslo, Norway; five grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ingval Anderson of Clarkfield and Mrs. John Satre of Worthington, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Morten, November 1942. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
