Herman Arthur Nohrenberg was born January 4, 1865, and baptized in Germany, Province of Posen. His parents were Ludwig and Anna Nohrenberg. At the age of ten years he and his parents came to this country to Delevan, Blue Earth County. Here he was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. At the age of 17 years he came to Omro Township. On July 5, 1889, he was married to Helena Reich. This union was blessed with nine children. Mr. Nohrenberg passed away Thursday afternoon, February 14, 1952, in Omro Township, at the age of 87 years. He leaves to mourn his death, his sons: Ewalt, Arthur and Arnold of Omro, Louis of Wadena, and Gerhardt of Bellingham; three daughters-in-law; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, besides a host of relatives and friends. His wife, two daughters and two sons preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday, February 18, 1952, 2:00 p.m., at Saint John's Lutheran Church, Omro Township, Rev. W.H.
