Herbert Carl Haroldson, 71 passed away on October 21, 1988, at the Canby Hospital, Canby, Minnesota. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 1988, from Swede Home Lutheran Church of Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor Joyce Knorr officiating. Organist was Kathy Jahn with vocal music by Pastor Joyce Knorr. Final Resting Place was in the Swede Home Lutheran Cemetery, Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, and serving as Casket Bearers were: Harlan Hanson, Clifford, Lowell, Lyle and Richard Haroldson and Merle Pearson. Herbert was born on September 5, 1917, to Carl and Emma (Paulson) Haroldson. He was baptized at Swede Home Lutheran Church and spent most of his life in Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, where he helped with the farming. Herbert is survived by four brothers and two sisters, Harold and Clarence of Swede Prairie Township, Ragner, Emmitt Haroldson and Ethel Culbertson of Hutchinson, Minnesota, and Helen Hanson of Mankato, Minnesota.
