Henry Joseph Macht was born August 5, 1906, in Omro Township, to Joseph and Frances (Fischer) Macht. He was baptized and confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church in Omro Township. On May 23, 1931, he was united in marriage ot Helena Steinke. To this union four daughters were born. Muriel died in infancy, Arlene (Mrs. Wayne) Spiess of Dawson, Irene (Mrs. Harry) Peters of Montevideo, and Florence (Mrs. Donald) Zietlow of Boyd. On June 8, 1977, Mr. Macht passed away at his home, at the age of 70. His wife preceded him in death on March 7, 1962. Besides his three daughters, survivors include ten grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and many other relatives and friends.
