Obituary

Henry Olaus Kise was born in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, January 7, 1875, the son of Halvor and Ingeborg (Loite) Raahelle. He was baptized and confirmed in Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church. After his father's death and his mother remarried, he later took his stepfather's name, Kise. He made his home in Hanley Falls and worked on farms and as a laborer and did a lot of trapping in the winter. The last years he had been of failing health, and November 19, 1956, he was taken to the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota. He remained confined to bed until he passed away Monday, October 7, 1957, at the age of 82 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two half sisters and one half brother. One half brother, Fred Kise, survives him, as well as other relatives and friends. IN MEMORY OF HENRY O.
