Funeral services for Henry Anderson of Boyd, Minnesota, were held on Friday, April 5, 1974, at the Lynner Funeral Home Chapel, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Rev. Gordon Trelstad officiating. Organist was Kathy Koepp and vocal music was furnished by Mrs. Myron Friberg and Mrs. Johnie Sturgeon. Henry was born May 9, 1902, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnnesota, to parents Bernt and Oline (Eidahl) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was a World War II Veteran. Surviving are his two sisters: Mrs. Olga Martinson of Boyd, Minnesota, and Mrs. Hilda Ohman of Clarkfield; three brothers: Martin of Clarkfield, Tillman of Boyd, and Elmer of Yountville, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Virgil Anderson, Jewell Anderson, Duane Martinson, Harlen Martinson, Marvin Hegna and Maurice Oakland were the Casket Bearers. Interment was at the Clarkfield City Cemetery. Mr. Anderson passed away Tuesday morning, April 2, 1974, at the Veterans Hospital at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the age of 71 years after a four month illness.
