Helmer C. Anderson passed away December 8, 1974, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. He was born September 15, 1910, to Carl and Karen (Martinson) Anderson at Boyd, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd. He was united in marriage to Myrtle Olson on September 4, 1932. To this union two children were born: Jane (Mrs. Henry Johnson) of Riverside, California, and LaVilla (Mrs. Leslie Saue) of Boyd. He spent his entire life farming in the Clarkfield and Boyd communities. For the past year and a half, he has made his home in Boyd. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; two daughters: Jane and LaVilla; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two sisters: Alvilda (Mrs. Virgil Erickson) and Inez (Mrs. Otto Thorsteinson) both of Boyd; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister in infancy, and one brother, Melvin. IN MEMORY OF HELMER C.
