Helma Annette Watson, 79, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, died Thursday, December 12, 1985, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 1985, at the Assembly of God Church, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor Norma Rudd officiating. Final Resting Place is the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens of Montevideo, Minnesota. She was born August 12, 1906, in Clearbrook, Minnesota, to Lars and Helena (Ness) Klyberg. On September 20, 1930, Helma married William Watson in Montevideo. They became the parents of two sons and one daughter. She was a member of the Clarkfield Assembly of God Church. Helma was a waitress and cook for many years. A former resident of Montevideo and Clarkfield for the past year and a half, she resided with her son Donald and family in Brooklyn Park. Joanne Gullickson provided the music at the service. Casket Bearers were Jerome Bergeson, Kenneth Bergeson, Lloyd Mork, Wayne Pratt, Daniel Watson and Michael Watson. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, William and his wife Ramona of Burnsville, Minnesota, Donald and his wife Emelaine of Brooklyn Park and Marjorie and her husband Kenneth Stamps of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Timothy Watson, Michael Watson, Kimberly Omlie, Daniel Watson, Jonathan Watson, Teri Gynild, Gary Gynild and Shari Gynild; and four great grandchildren, Kari and Tracy Omlie and Felescity and Derenda Gynild; four sisters, Cora Peturka of Bemidji, Minnesota, Josie (Mrs. Noble Bergeson) of Dawson, Minnesota, Mrs. Lena Welch of Dawson, Minnesota, and Mrs. Esther Pratt of Rochester, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceeded in death by her parents; three brothers, Narve, John and Henry Klyberg; and two sisters, Anna Grothe and Mable Johnson.
