Helma Geneva Eye, 75, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died Tuesday, July 21, 1987, at the Clarkfield Care Center. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. at the Clarkfield Assembly of God Church on July 24, 1987, with Pastor Jay Norman officiating. Soloists were David Rupp and Jane Whipple. Organist was Joann Hildahl. Casket Bearers were Scott Lindquist, Bruce Lindquist, Steve Londgren, Jerome Kvistad, John Kvistad and Harry Stokke. Final Resting Place is the Clarkfield City Cemetery, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Helma Geneva Foss, Stokke Eye was born to John and Thora (Falkum) Foss at Hazel Run, Minnesota, on April 3, 1912. On February 5, 1933, she married Bernard S. Stokke and they had three children, Duane, Beulah and Sharon. They lived in and around Clarkfield all their married life. Bernard preceded her in death in 1956. She married Lewis Eye on September 19, 1964, and farmed southwest of Clarkfield during their married life. Lewis passed away April 19, 1978. She was a faithful member of the Assembly of God Church all of her married life. She loved her church. She is survived by her children, son, Duane and wife Donna of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; daughter, Beulah and husband Earl Lindquist of Clarkfield; daughter, Sharon and husband Gene Brunner of Clarkfield; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Alvilda (George) Wester, Mrs. Mabel (Clyde) Fuller and Mrs. Ruth (LeVern) Stevens of Spokane, Washington, and Mrs. Thelma (John) Kvistad of rural Clarkfield; brothers, Hjalmer, Elmer and George Foss of Spokane, and Norman of Granite Falls, Minnesota.
