Our Heavenly Father called Mrs. Theodore Pieschke out of this vale of tears to His eternal home on Sunday, November 11, 1979. She passed away at the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Dawson, Minnesota. Mrs. Pieschke was born Helen Margaret Zietlow on March 4, 1905, at Springfield, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Herman and Louise (Therefield) Zietlow. The family moved to the Boyd, Minnesota area in the spring of 1913. On May 29, 1919, Helen was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, where she remained a lifetime member. She was also a member of the Lutheran Women's Mssionary League, and at the time of her death, she was also a member of the Lydia Circle. On June 27, 1937, Helen Zietlow and Theodore Pieschke were united in marriage at Zion Lutheran Church, Tyro Township. The Lord blessed their marriage with two daughters, Lola and Lorraine. Mrs. Pieschke was preceeded in death by her parents and by her husband Theodore. She is survived by her two daughters: Mrs. William (Lola) West of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Mrs. Lonnie (Lorraine) Schwartz of Dawson, Minnesota; a sister, Mrs. Hulda Loose of Clarkfield, Minnesota; a brother, Mr. Leonard Zietlow of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and eight grandchildren.
