Hazel L. Lien Wilson, 79, died Saturday, March 2, 1985, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 1985, at the Bergen Lutheran Church in Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor William Klavetter officiating. Music was by Loren Norgaard with Mrs. Duane Jacobson at the organ. Casket Bearers were Edward Brennan, Gerold Rupp, John Rupp, Kenneth Rupp, Harold Kvistero and Wayne Heglund. Final Resting Place is the Bergen Lutheran Church Cemetery, Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was born May 3, 1905, at Clarkfield to Simon and Helen Lien. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended school in Clarkfield and was a telephone operator for many years. On June 30, 1937 she married Elmer Wilson. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Arlene Torgerson, Clarice Koepke, Ruby Wilson of Granite Falls, Ruth Long of Wood Lake, Minnesota; nephews and friends.
