Services were held Monday, March 11, 1974, at Clarkfield Lutheran Church for Harvey Lackey who passed away on Thursday, March 7, 1974, at the age of 44 years. Rev. Gordon Trelstad officiated at the final rites. Organist was Mrs. Ronald Donner and vocal music was furnished by Mrs. Allen Cornelius and Mrs. Duane McCoy. Casket Bearers were William Buseman, Ronald Janke, Alvin Johnson, Darwin Lovhaug, Wayne McCully and Arvid Rikke. Final resting place is Clarkfield Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Lackey was born October 9, 1929, in South Dakota, the son of Fred Lackey and Mary Schultz Lackey. He was a Veteran of the United States Armed Forces during the Korean War. Survivors include seven children: Freda, Brenda, Gordon, Jeffrey, Debra, David and Dennis. Mr. Lackey was preceded in death by his wife, Elois Ann (Gordon) Lackey, on January 22, 1973.
