Harvard Eugene Larson, the son of Ludwig and Amelia (Roberts) Larson, was born October 29, 1896, at Cottonwood, Minnesota. He died at the Clara City Nursing Home, Clara City, Minnesota, on Wednesday, December 10, 1975, at the age of 79. Harvard was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood. On February 13, 1920, he was united in marriage to Christine Olson of that community. To this union four children were born: LaVonne of Montevideo, Minnesota, The Reverend Calvin Larson of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Marlin Larson of Boyd, and Dr. Harvard Larson of Denver, Colorado. Mr. Larson was chartered member 103 of the original Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance Company. He is survived by his wife; four children; ten grandchildren: Linda, Ruth, Karin, and Daniel Larson of Wisconsin, Philip, Janell and Sara Larson of Boyd, and Tamara and Margo Larson of Denver, Colorado. Also surviving are seven sisters and brothers: Leslie Larson of Cottonwood, Mrs. Amy Smith and Mrs. Elfreda Westgard of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Mildred Middleton and Edward Larson of Marshall, Minnesota, Berdine Larson of Victoria, Minnesota; and a number of nieces and nephews. His parents; a sister Hazel; a brother Walter; and a granddaughter Dana preceded him in death. IN MEMORY OF HARVARD E.
