Harry Erling Morland was born on March 30, 1930, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, to parents Nels and Lena (Blaness) Morland. He was baptized and confirmed at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church and graduated from the Clarkfield High School. Harry served in the United States Air Force until he was discharged in December 1954. Harry and Margaret Day were united in marriage on July 6, 1951, at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. They were the parents of three daughters and one son: Marcia, Laurie, Michael and JoAnn. Harry and Margaret lived in the Clarkfield area for many years before they moved to Marshall, Minnesota, in 1973. He was retired from PPG and also worked part-time at Bot Appliance in Marshall. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved music, spending time at his camper and especially being with his family. Harry passed away at Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minnesota, on Wednesday evening, September 26, 2007, at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 26 days. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, of Marshall and his children: Marcia (and Erland) Moe of Foristell, Missouri, Laurie (and Norm) Amiot of Wright City, Missouri, Michael Morland of Marshall and JoAnn (and Steve) Nisbit of Dover, Minnesota. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister Norma Frank of LeSuer, Minnesota; and sister-in-law Doris Morland of Clarkfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Arden; and sisters: Eleanor Hovdesven, Gladys Frank and Delores Sievers.
