Harold Ludwig Pearson passed away on Sunday, October 7, 1973, at the Clarkfield Hospital at the age of 77 years, after hospitalization of a week following a stroke. Born December 12, 1895, Harold was the son of Andrew and Severina (Haroldson) Pearson in Swede Prairie Township. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Swede Home Church of which he was a lifelong member. On March 23, 1921, he was united in marriage to Alice Johnson. They farmed in Swede Prairie Township until he retired and they moved to Clarkfield, Minnesota. Mr. Pearson is survived by his wife Alice; three sons and one daughter, namely: Arden of Kandiyohi, Minnesota, Gail of Minneota, Minnesota, Merle of Clarkfield, and Joyce (Mrs. Lewellyn Vold) of Clarkfield; seven grandchildren; one brother, John Pearson of Warren, Minnesota; two sisters, Anna (Mrs. John Butcher) of Onawa, Iowa, and Alma (Mrs. George Jorgenson) of Madison, Minnesota; a large number of nieces and nephews, besides a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. IN MEMORY OF HAROLD L.
