Funeral Services for Harold Nilson of Boyd, Minnesota, 46-year-old victim of the January 12, 1975 blizzard were held Wednesday, January 15, 1975, at 2:00 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd. He was born December 20, 1928, in Minnesota to parents Nils and Alma (Erickson) Nilson. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include six sisters: Irene Iverson and Alice Nilson of Boyd, Mae Strand of Chaska, Minnesota, Gena Fanter of Esterville, Iowa, Edith Clausen and Ethel Leenerts of Boyd; and brothers: Marriam, Anton, Lloyd and Everett, all of Boyd.
