Harold M. Hanson (July 12, 1943 - April 4, 2011) Harold M. Hanson was born July 12, 1943, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to parents Harold Hanson Sr. and Mildred (Hamre) Hanson. He was baptized at Willow Creek Lutheran Church and confirmed at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. He graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1961, where he was active in high school activities and the school choir. Harold worked as a truck driver and also in the printing field. He was very passionate in both fields. He loved fishing. He was a very caring man and always put others first. Harold became a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center in 1995. He will be remembered by many as always taking residents in wheelchairs to the lunch room for meals. He passed away at the Care Center on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 22 days. He is survived by sister: Imogene Weinhold of Clarkfield; and five children: Jody Bushman of Bemidji, Minnesota, June Mead (Kelly) of Granite Falls, Minnesota, Kimberly Smith (Morgan) of Bemidji, Minnesota, Steven Hanson of Shakopee, Minnesota, and Sarah Locke of New York. He is also survived by one nephew; four nieces; nine grandchildren: Heather, Robin, Nicodemus, Keliann, Jennifer, Jessica, Sam, Alexis, and Avre; and 10 great grandchildren.
