Harold O. Foss September 3, 1923 ~ August 24, 2013 Harold O. Foss was born in rural Clarkfield, Minnesota, on September 3, 1923, to parents Kittle O. and Bertha (Myran) Foss. He lived in the Clarkfield area his entire life. Harold married Audrey Stroschein of Wood Lake, Minnesota, on February 21, 1954, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Posen Township. They were the parents of four sons: Jeffrey, Bradley, Byron and Douglas. Harold was an employee of AMPI until retirement. He was a past member of Zion Lutheran Church and when Harold and Audrey moved to Clarkfield, they joined Augustana Lutheran. He lived at Valhalla Apartments the past few years and became a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center about two months ago. Harold passed away at the Care Center on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 21 days. Harold is survived by his sons: Jeff Foss of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, Byron (and Clarice) Foss of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Douglas (and Deborah) Foss of Ashland City, Tennessee. He is also survived by grandchildren: Joel, Courtney, Jacie and Chantall Foss and four great grandchildren and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Amanda Heimdahl, wife, Audrey and son, Bradley. Harold was a kind, gentle and quiet man.
