Harlan Leslie Groehler was born August 12, 1902, in Clarkfield, Minnesota. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Groehler, pioneers of the Village of Clarkfield. Harlan was graduated from Clarkfield High School with honors with the class of 1921. Since leaving Clarkfield, Harlan had been employed by the Great Northern Railway. Mr. Groehler passed away December 31, 1950, at the hospital in St. Peter, Minnesota, at the age of 48 years He was preceded in death by his parents and his only brother, George, late of Dawson, Minnesota. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Dahlen of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Mrs. Ben Harris of Fargo, North Dakota. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 3, 1951, 2:00 p.m., at Lynner Funeral Home, Clarkfield, Minnesota, Rev. C.O. Bomgren officiating. Martin Jurgenson sang, "Does Jesus Care", while Mrs. Bomgren served as organist. Arrangements by Lynner Funeral Home Since 1891 Clarkfield Minnesota
