Hardine G. Halverson was born April 4, 1900, the son of Elef H. and Ingeborg (Davidson) Halverson. Hardine met Thrina Tufte during her visits home to Hazel Run. They were married in April of 1930 and lived on a farm near Hanley Falls for many years. They had one son, Archie. He passed away Monday, October 14, 1968, at Carman in Manitoba, Canada, while in Canada to attend a wedding, at the age of 68 years. Mr. Halverson is survived by his wife, Thrina, of Granite Falls, and one son, Archie, of rural Hanley Falls. Also surviving are two brothers: Russell Halverson and Herman Halverson of Granite Falls; and two sisters: Mrs. George Greseth of Hazel Run and Olga (Mrs. Gust Grabrowski) of Canada.
