Obituary

Hansina Kroger Abrahamson was born August 19, 1875, in Bergen, Norway, the daughter of Frantz Kristian and Brita (Larsdatter) Kroger. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She came to America in 1900 to the home of her brother, Christian in Canby, Minnesota. In 1914, she married Mads Abrahamson. To this union, two sons were born, one passing away in infancy and Clarence, now residing in Wood Lake, Minnesota. Mr. Abrahamson passed away in February, 1942. Sina, as she was known to her friends, continued to live in Hanley Falls until May of 1966 when she entered the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota, where she passed away on Monday evening, December 28, 1970, at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn her passing one son, Clarence; one step-son, Selmer of St. Paul, Minnesota; one step-daughter, Alma, of the Clarkfield Care Center; and four grandchildren.
