Hans Foss was born in Oslo, Norway, April 22, 1868. He was 87 years and two months old at the time of his death. He became blind five years ago and has failed in health the past years. He made his home with his brother, John, who preceded him in death twelve years ago. The last three years of his life, he made his home with a niece, Mrs. John Kvistad. Mr. Foss passed away at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, June 29, 1955. He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Emma Vaala of Dawson, Minnesota, Anna Foss of Havre, Montana, and Mrs. Chasta Jorgenson of Hazel Run, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
