Halvor O. Dyrdahl was born March 6, 1898, in Friendship Township to the parents, Osmund and Jorund (Olson) Dyrdahl. He was confirmed by Rev. T.J. Oppedahl in Bethlehem Lutheran Church near Hazel Run, Minnesota, and attended school in District 28. He was a lifelong resident of the Hazel Run/Clarkfield area and spent his life doing farm work at various places. Halvor had been in failing health for the last year and was admitted to the Clarkfield Community Hospital November 23 and transferred to the Willmar Hospital on November 25. There he passed away on December 2, 1970, at the age of 72 years. He is survived by four brothers: Bennie and Albin of Hazel Run, Ordel of Minneapolis and Clifford of Minnetonka, Minnesota; and two sisters: Anne and Hilda of Hazel Run. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Swen and Ole, and a sister, Bessie. IN MEMORY OF HALVOR O.
