Haldor Hofteig was born September 27, 1878, in Minnesota, the son of Sigurbjorn Hofteig and Steinun (Magnusdottir) Hofteig. He passed away April 9, 1956, at his Westerheim Township home at the age of 77 years. Survivors include his wife, Christiana Adalbjorg Hofteig; one son, Milford; and four brothers and one sister: Mrs. Christine Clausen and Gerhard of Minneapolis, Alfred of Spokane, Washington, Martin of Dawson, Minnesota, and John of Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Halvor Iverson, Mrs. Ole Bye, Ole and Joe and one brother in infancy. IN MEMORY OF HALDOR B.
