Gregg M. Wilson was born June 15, 1955, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota, to Walter and Trudy Wilson. He was baptized and confirmed at Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota. He attended Clarkfield Public School and graduated in 1973. Gregg married Ruth Rolighed June 14, 1975. They were parents of two children, Tera and Matthew. Gregg farmed his entire adult life in the Hazel Run area. He was an 18 year veteran of the Hazel Run/Clarkfield Fire Department, and a member of the Hazel Run City Council. Gregg was a member of Hazel Run Lutheran Church and served as a trustee for many years. He was also the church custodian. Gregg enjoyed golfing, car races, snowmobiling, and basketball. He treasured the time he could spend with family and friends. He was a jack-of-all trades accomplishing many building and remodeling projects. Gregg passed away September 5, 2003, at his home at the age of 48 years, 2 months and 21 days. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; their children, Tera (Michael) Lauer of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Matthew; parents, Walter and Trudy Wilson of Hazel Run; sisters, Debra (Craig) Olson of Burnsville, Minnesota, Stephanie (Perry) Davis of East Bethel, Minnesota, and Tamara (Kevin) Wyffels of Minneota, Minnesota; father and mother-in-law, Alton and Earlene Rolighed of Clarkfield, Minnesota; brother-in-law Tom (Robyn) Rolighed of Clarkfield; sisters-in-law, Laurel (Ron) Hartfiel of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, Jean Rolighed of Willmar, Minnesota, and Carmen Rolighed of Dawson, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. Beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed forever, but never forgotten.
