Gloria M. (Feist) Olson was born September 17, 1925, in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to William and Tillie (Lee) Feist. She was baptized and confirmed at Hazel Run Lutheran Church. Gloria and Leo Olson were married in February of 1948, at Clear Lake, South Dakota. She held several jobs, raised a family, and was a loving grandmother. Gloria passed away on Monday, November 8, 2004, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, Montevideo, Minnesota, at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 22 days. She is survived by her husband, Leo Olson of Clarkfield, Minnesota; children: Ginger (and Peter) Thomsen of Spicer, Minnesota, Wendy (and Gary) Hofmann of Clarkfield, and Gary Olson of Marshall, Minnesota. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Jody Larson of Montevideo; Foster Son Harold Kruckman of Hazel Run, Minnesota; Grandchildren: Jessica Aamot, Duke Olson, Manda Aamot, Joey Olson, Grete Thomsen, Josie Hofmann, Zachary Olson, and Heidi Burnett. Also surviving are her siblings Lucille Feist of Willmar, Minnesota, Gretchen Dotseth of the Twin Cities, Minnesota, Billy (and Wanda) Feist of St. Cloud, Minnesota and Darlene Christopherson of the Twin Cities. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Delores, James, and Gerald Feist.
