Glenn Sheridan Pyle was born April 14, 1916, at Scobey, Montana, to parents Raymond and Jennie (Ross) Pyle, He was baptized at the Church of Christ in Tracy, Minnesota. Glenn married Sarah Pochardt on September 21, 1950. They were the parents of four children: Keith, Wanda, Dewey, and Randy. Glenn and Sarah lived in the Boyd and Clarkfield, Minnesota areas where he did much painting and also working at Clarkfield Farm Chemicals. Glenn married Eileen Martinson Brovold at Bergen Lutheran Church on November 18, 1989. They made their home in Clarkfield and one of their many enjoyments was going to Trailways Cafe in Montevideo, Minnesota. Glenn was diagnosed with a brain tumor about five weeks ago and spent the last month of his life at the Clarkfield Care Center. He passed away on Thursday morning, January 20, 2005, at the Care Center at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 6 days. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, of Clarkfield; and his children and their families: Keith (and Becky) Pyle of Savage, Minnesota, Wanda (and Bob) Kolkman of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Dewey (and Sharon) Pyle of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Randy Pyle of St. Cloud, Minnesota. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Sarah and Dexter Pyle and Noah and Grant Kolkman; siblings: Floyd (and Rosie) Pyle, Orville (and Zetta) Pyle, Gladys Bliss, Joyce (and Jerry) Peterson and Virgil (and Joyce) Pyle; and sisters-in-law Betty Pyle and Beatrice Mueller. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Paul, Carroll and Ray Jr.; and sisters-in-law Artis Pyle and Patty Pyle.
