Glenn Michael Heald was born April 22, 1955, in Browns Valley, Minnesota, to Richard and Shirley (Babb) Heald. Glenn was baptized at Wilmot Lutheran Church in June of 1955 and was confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church of Clarkfield, Minnesota in May of 1970. In August of 1959 Glenn and his family moved to Clarkfield. Glenn attended grades K-12 at the Clarkfield Public School. While in high school, he participated in rodeo and enjoyed horse riding. Glenn and Paulette Kvistad were united in marriage on June 5, 1976, at the Assembly of God Church in Clarkfield. They were blessed with two sons: Derek and Corey. Glenn held numerous jobs including mechanic, city maintenance, working at Prairie Grain Partners and truck driving. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his shop and especially riding his Harley. He had been a patient at Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, several times the past few years. He passed away at the hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at the age of 50 years, 6 months, and 14 days. He is survived by his wife, Paulette, sons Derek and Corey, and his parents, Richard and Shirley Heald, all of Clarkfield. He is also survived by two brothers: David of Cado Mills, Texas, and Vernon (and Lois) of Minneota, Minnesota; and his grandmothers Beatrice Heald of Clarkfield and Ann Babb of Malakoff, Texax. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Dewey Heald and Charles (Mac) Babb, uncle Lee Heald and sister-in-law Marilyn Heald. Glenn was loved and will be remembered by everyone who knew him.
