Mrs. Walter (Gladys) Listul, 61, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died Monday, April 4, 1988, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, April 7, 1988, 11:00 a.m., at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota, with Pastor William Klavatter officiating. Organist was Mrs. Duane Jacobson with solo music by Loren Norgaard. Casket Bearers were Keith Listul, David Erp, Kenneth Jorgenson, George Greseth, Lee Phillippe and Ronald Anderson. Final Resting Place: Hazel Run Lutheran Cemetery, Hazel Run, Minnesota. Gladys was born on June 15, 1926, to Sam and Ethel (Nelson) Witsoe. The family resided in Granite Falls where she attended school. She was married to Walter Listul on February 4, 1945, at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church. They lived and farmed in the Hazel Run and Clarkfield area. Gladys was active in her church, serving as Sunday School teacher and President of the ALCW of Hazel Run Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed her time at the lake with friends. Gladys is survived by her children, Michael of Maplewood, Minnesota, Paul of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Jana Jorgenson of Charleston, West Virginia, and Tom of rural Clarkfield; her sister Wynnette Schroeder of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and her grandchildren Susan, Steven, Lance, Scott, Todd, Amy, Joshua, Michele, Lyric and Heather.
