Services for Geryl Lynn Ellingson, 30, of rural Hanley Falls, were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday April 26, 1985, at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls, Minnesota, with Pastor H. Norman Schey and Pastor William Klavetter officiating. Visitation for the family was from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday at the Lynner Funeral Home in Clarkfield, Minnesota, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Organist was Colleen Hewitt with Vocal Music by Mavis Ellingson and Joni Stucky. Casket Bearers were Randy Goering, Bruce Tusberg, Ron Jacques, Roger Vogt, Gary Sisler and Tom Zerfas Final Resting Place is the East Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery, Hanley Falls, Minnesota. Memorial Services were held Saturday, May 18, 1985, 2:00 p.m. from First Mennonite Church, Pretty Prairie, Kansas, with Rev. Richard Tschetter officiating. Mrs. Ellingson died Monday, April 22, 1985, from injuries sustained in a car accident April 17, 1985. She was born in Kingman, Kansas, on November 10, 1954, to Gerald G. and Phylus (Young) Stucky. She attended schools in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, and after graduating from high school, she attended Sid's Hair Dressing College in Hutchinson, Kansas. She married Bruce Ellingson on September 25, 1976. They moved to Minnesota in July 1984, residing on a farm near Hanley Falls. In Kansas she worked as a cosmetologist and she was in the process of setting up a beauty shop in Hanley Falls. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sarah and Bonnie; her parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Young and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Stucky, all of Pretty Prairie, Kansas; and five sisters, Mrs. Tom (Juanita) Zerfas of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Gary (Paula) Sisler, Mrs. Ron (Vickie) Jacques and Mrs. Randy (Kellee) Goering, all of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Joni Stucky of Pretty Prairie, Kansas.
