Gertie Swenson was born September 27, 1892, to parents John P. and Bergit (Dahley) Swenson. She passed away March 1, 1977, at her Hazel Run farmhome at the age of 84. Survivors include a brother, Milton Swenson; sister, Esther Swenson; two nieces of Audubon; and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
