Gerhard A. Larson, 82, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, January 13, 1989, at the Clarkfield Care Center. Funeral services for Gerhard A. Larson were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 1989, from the Spring Creek Lutheran Church of Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor Robert Lehner officiating. Organist was Mrs. Robert Lehner with vocal solos provided by David Rupp. Casket Bearers were Arden, Ellsworth, Harold and Paul Gunderson, LeRoy Jacobson and James Larson. Burial was in the Spring Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Gerhard was born in Friendship Township, Yellow Medicine County ,on November 6, 1906, to Hans and Helga (Haugen) Larson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He farmed in Friendship Township, Southeast of Clarkfield for many years until his retirement. He is survived by one sister, Mabel Danielson of the Madison Lutheran Home, Madison, Minnesota; one brother, Raymond of the Clarkfield Care Center; and several nieces and nephews.
