Gerda Anna Jacobson was born in Cokato, Minnesota, on January 23, 1939, to John and Elvira Carlson. She attended rural school there and moved to Dassel, Minnesota, with her family in 1947. She was confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Dassel in 1953 and graduated from high school in 1956. She attended St. Cloud State College and the Minnesota School of Business. She was employed by NW Bell. In September, 1966, Robert Jacobson and Gerda were married. They reside on a farm near Granite Falls, Minnesota. Gerda has participated in church activities and directed the cherub choir at church. Gerda Anna Jacobson died on May 12, 1980, at her home. She suffered from Graves Disease and had been ill for some time. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Jay; parents John and Vera Carlson; and sister Joan (Mrs. Robert Sanken) of Excelsior; and nieces and nephews. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
